Heartcode Methodology and Evidence
How Validator Master evaluates observable response behavior and what the resulting evidence can and cannot establish.
Observable behavior
The direct response-evaluation contract has evaluationScope=response_text_only. Validator Master evaluates observable response text rather than hidden reasoning or chain-of-thought.
Evidence
Findings can include detector identifiers, Heartcode dimension identifiers, severity, confidence, explanatory messages, and exact response-text evidence spans.
Versioned evidence also identifies the protocol and evaluator used for the result. Same-run Arena evidence can additionally preserve provider/model identity and integrity metadata.
Reproducibility
Versioned contracts, deterministic evaluator behavior, explicit evaluation conditions, and preserved evidence support reproducible inspection within the stated scope.
Reproducibility within a stated contract is not the same claim as external validity, certification, regulatory compliance, or universal safety.
